Set up billing in Business Settings > Billing and Payments.

Step-by-Step Guide

Follow these 5 steps to complete this guide

  1. 1

    Setting Up Billing

Go to your ad account settings > Billing and Payments. Add a primary payment method. Enter card details and billing address. If in the UAE, add your TRN if applicable.

  2. 2

    Billing Thresholds

Meta does not charge daily. Instead, charges occur when your cumulative spend hits a threshold. New accounts start around USD 25. As you pay successfully, the threshold increases to USD 50, 250, 500, and eventually 750. You can also be charged at the end of your monthly billing period regardless of whether you hit the threshold.

  3. 3

    Multiple Payment Methods

Add backup payment methods to avoid campaign disruption if your primary method fails. Go to Billing > Payment Methods > Add.

  4. 4

    Spending Limits

Set an account spending limit to cap total spend. Go to Billing > Payment Settings > Account Spending Limit. This is a hard cap — when reached, all campaigns pause until you increase or remove the limit.

  5. 5

    Invoices

Access invoices in Billing > Transactions. Download for accounting and tax purposes. Each transaction shows the date, amount, campaigns included, and payment method used.
